The property passed through numerous noble families and received its Baroque form in the 17th century, with distinctive architectural features like vaulted and cross-vaulted ceilings, a stairway with barrel vaulting, and remnants of Rococo decoration such as painted doors.
In the 19th century, the castle was used as a local school and vicarage, and today it functions mainly as a storage facility for the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague. The site now retains much of its historical layout and is recognized as a protected cultural monument.
