Zámek Doudleby Nad Orlicí
Doudleby nad Orlicí, Czechia, Czech Republic (Czechia)
Zámek Doudleby nad Orlicí is a Renaissance château in eastern Czechia, built in 1588 as a summer residence for the Bubna family of Litice.
Its most striking feature is the unusual sgrafitto decoration that covers the exterior walls and even parts of the courtyard, making it one of the most distinctive châteaux in the region. Today the château is open to visitors for much of the season and includes a nature and rural life museum, a park, and a farm-style courtyard area. It is both a historic monument and a pleasant place to visit for architecture, local history, and walks in the grounds.
