Zámek Nasavrky
Nasavrky, Czechia, Czech Republic (Czechia)
Zámek Nasavrky is a late Renaissance château located in the center of Nasavrky in the Iron Mountains region of eastern Czechia.
Built around 1600 on the site of an older fortress, it is known for its decorative sgraffito façades, historic sandstone portal, and well-preserved Renaissance architectural features. Over the centuries, the château served as a noble residence, administrative center, court, and government office.
After extensive restoration in the late 20th century, it was preserved as an important cultural monument owned by the town of Nasavrky. Today, the château hosts cultural events, exhibitions, and community gatherings. It is especially known for its permanent exhibition “In the Footsteps of the Celts,” which explores the Celtic heritage of the surrounding region.
