Zámek Nenakonice
Věrovany, Czech Republic (Czechia)
Zámek Nenakonice in Věrovany, Czech Republic, is a Baroque one-wing castle built in the early 18th century by Olomouc provost František Ferdinand hrabě Oedt as a summer residence and administrative center for the estate.
It underwent several expansions and modifications in the 18th and 19th centuries by subsequent owners, including the Egkh and Martinic families. Notable features include a large entrance hall built in place of a former tower, a Baroque granary, a chapel, and ornamental gardens. The castle suffered a fire in 1866 but was rebuilt and later served different functions, including housing the State Scientific Library of Olomouc after 1948.
Today, it is in a neglected state under private ownership but remains a significant historical landmark reflecting regional noble heritage.
