Zámek Těšany
Těšany, Czechia, Czech Republic (Czechia)
Zámek Těšany is a historic early Baroque chateau located in the village of Těšany in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic, about 20 km southeast of Brno.
It was built in the second half of the 17th century as a residence for the Dominican order from Brno, which owned the village at the time. The château is considered an important cultural monument and a prominent architectural landmark of the village.
After the dissolution of the monastery in 1784, the property passed to a religious fund and later entered private ownership in 1807. Significant modifications were made during the 19th century under the Weiss family, and the building was renovated again in the late 20th century.
