Zámek Vítkovice, also known as the Rothschild Chateau, is a historic Empire-style residence located in the Vítkovice district of Ostrava.

It was built in 1846-1848 by the Rothschild family, owners of the Vítkovice ironworks, making it the oldest surviving building in Vítkovice. The château served as a residence for company leaders and as an important administrative center connected to the nearby industrial complex. The building originally featured elegant interiors, formal salons, and gardens linking it to the ironworks.

Over time, industrial expansion and changing uses altered the property, but it remained an important symbol of Ostrava’s industrial heritage. Today, the château is a protected cultural monument that has been restored and is used for cultural, social, and event purposes. It stands as a reminder of the Rothschild family's influence on the development of Ostrava and the region’s iron and steel industry.
