Zámek Žitenice is a historic château located in the village of Žitenice near Litoměřice in northern Czechia.

It stands on the site of an older medieval fortress and evolved through Renaissance and Baroque rebuilding, with further modifications after a major fire in the early 19th century. Today, it is recognized as a protected cultural monument. The estate was long associated with the Vyšehrad Chapter and several noble families, including the Lords of Roupov.

A notable stone Baroque entrance gate from 1699 and the château’s two-winged layout remain important features of the complex. After World War II, the château was used by a state farm and later served as an archive repository. In recent decades it was returned to the Vyšehrad Chapter and later acquired by the municipality, which has explored plans for its restoration and community use.

Situated beside the Church of Saints Peter and Paul, Zámek Žitenice is one of the village’s most significant landmarks and reflects centuries of local religious, noble, and architectural history.
