Zayd ibn Ali Shrine

The Zayd ibn Ali Shrine is an important religious site located in the Babylon Governorate of Iraq, near the village of Kifl and close to the city of Al-Hilla. This shrine honors Zayd ibn Ali, a respected Islamic leader, scholar, and the great-grandson of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib. Zayd ibn Ali is remembered as a courageous figure who led a revolt against the Umayyad Caliphate in the 8th century and became a martyr.
