Zřícenina Hradu Hoštejn is the remains of a Gothic medieval castle situated on a hill above the village of Hoštejn in the Olomouc Region of the Czech Republic.

The castle was probably founded in the second half of the 13th century by the powerful Hrabišic family and was built to control the surrounding area and strengthen their regional influence. Throughout its history, the castle was involved in political conflicts, military campaigns, and the Hussite Wars.

It suffered repeated attacks and damage, and by the mid-15th century it had been abandoned and was already described as a ruin. Today, only small remnants of walls, ramparts, and defensive ditches survive, but the site is protected as a cultural monument. Visitors come for its historical significance, scenic views over the Moravská Sázava valley, and its connection to the region’s medieval past.
