Zřícenina hradu Kamýk is the ruin of a Gothic castle located on a rocky basalt hill above the village of Kamýk in the Czech Central Highlands.

The castle was founded in the early 14th century, likely under King John of Luxembourg, and served as a strategic stronghold overseeing traffic along the Elbe River. Throughout its history, the castle changed hands among several noble families and survived periods of conflict, including the Hussite Wars.

It was renovated and expanded in 1547, but by around 1600 it had been abandoned. After being plundered by Saxon troops during the Thirty Years’ War in 1632, it gradually fell into ruin. Today, Kamýk is a protected cultural monument and a popular destination for visitors interested in medieval history. Parts of its defensive walls, residential tower, and other structures remain visible, and the hilltop site offers impressive views of the surrounding landscape.
