Zřícenina hradu Libštejn is a Gothic castle ruin located near the village of Liblín in the Plzeň Region of Czechia. Founded in the 14th century, it was originally constructed as a strategic fortress on a sandstone hill overlooking the Berounka River.

The castle played a significant role during various conflicts, including a notable siege in 1430 during the Hussite Wars, where it was defended by a garrison of around 80 men. Over the centuries, the castle faced numerous attacks and periods of neglect, and it was heavily damaged during the Thirty Years' War. By the late 16th century, it was abandoned and eventually fell into complete disrepair.

Today, the ruins are a protected cultural monument, and visitors can explore remaining structures such as the high prismatic tower, residential ruins, and defensive bastions, offering a glimpse into medieval military architecture. The site provides impressive views of the surrounding wooded hills and landscape, making it a popular destination for history enthusiasts and tourists alike.
