Zřícenina Hradu Litýš is a medieval castle ruin located in the Central Bohemian Uplands near the village of Liběšice in northern Czechia.

The castle was built between approximately 1423 and 1427 by Sigismund of Vartemberk and served as an important anti-Hussite stronghold during a turbulent period of Czech history. After regional conflicts subsided, Litýš became the administrative center of a large estate. By 1544, however, it was already recorded as abandoned and gradually fell into ruin.

Today, visitors can see remnants of its fortifications, earthworks, moats, and traces of masonry that reflect the castle’s once sophisticated defensive design. Set on a hill surrounded by the scenic landscape of the České středohoří region, the site offers a peaceful destination for hikers and history enthusiasts. Although only partial remains survive, the ruins provide a glimpse into the military architecture and political struggles of 15th-century Bohemia and are protected as a cultural monument.
