Zřícenina Hradu Roupov is the impressive ruin of a medieval castle located in the village of Roupov in western Czechia.

The castle was founded in the 13th century and was repeatedly expanded and rebuilt, gaining Gothic and later Renaissance features that made it one of the region’s most notable noble residences. After losing its residential role in the early 18th century, the castle gradually fell into disrepair.

Parts of the structure were damaged during the Thirty Years' War, and further deterioration eventually left it a ruin. Today, visitors can explore substantial remains of the castle, including parts of the palace, a rare medieval kitchen with its distinctive octagonal chimney, and a Gothic well. These surviving features make Roupov one of the most atmospheric castle ruins in the Plzeň region and a fascinating destination for history enthusiasts.
