Sirotčí Hrádek is a picturesque ruin of a Gothic castle located above the village of Klentnice in the Pálava Hills of South Moravia.

The castle was built in the mid-13th century by the Wehingen family and later passed to the Liechtenstein and Dietrichstein families before being abandoned in the 16th century. The fortress was constructed on two limestone cliffs separated by a deep gorge, giving it a distinctive and highly defensive position.

Although only fragments of walls, parts of a palace, and other masonry remain, the ruins still provide a striking reminder of the castle’s medieval past. Today, Sirotčí Hrádek is a protected cultural monument and one of the most recognizable landmarks of the Pálava region. It is popular with hikers and visitors for its dramatic scenery, historical atmosphere, and panoramic views over the surrounding vineyards and countryside.
