Ajmer Sharif Dargah is the sacred tomb of the Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti, known as Gharib Nawaz or Benefactor of the Poor, located in the heart of Ajmer, Rajasthan.

Built over his burial site after his death in 1236, the complex expanded under Mughal emperors like Humayun, who constructed the initial dome, Akbar with the Akbari Mosque, and Shah Jahan adding grand gates such as the Nizam Gate and Shahjahani Gate, blending Indo-Islamic architecture with white marble screens, silver railings, and intricate carvings. 

This interfaith pilgrimage site draws millions annually for qawwali music, chadar offerings, and the vibrant Urs festival in May-June, symbolizing unity, compassion, and spiritual harmony across religions.
