Aulanko Granite Castle is a picturesque stone structure located in the Aulanko Nature Reserve near Hämeenlinna in southern Finland.

Although it resembles a medieval fortress, the current granite castle is actually a romantic ornamental building created in the late 19th century as part of the landscaped Aulanko park estate. The site is linked to a much older history, as the nearby hill was once home to an ancient Iron Age hillfort and settlement. The original fortification disappeared centuries ago, while the granite castle was built to evoke the atmosphere of Finland’s historic past.

Today, Aulanko Granite Castle is a popular attraction known for its distinctive architecture, scenic forest surroundings, and views over the Aulanko landscape. It forms part of one of Finland’s most celebrated park and nature areas and is often used as a venue for cultural events and summer theatre performances.
