Bhatambra Fort, located in the village of Bhatambra in Karnataka's Bidar district, is a historic fort believed to have been built around the 12th century with black stone, showcasing strong and attractive fortifications.

The fort is surrounded by dense bushes and has the appearance of an English castle, although it differs in design from nearby forts like Hankuni. Inside the fort, there are ruins of structures that indicate its past significance, including remnants of a palace and an enclosure with a domed ceiling.

It also features bastions with stairways providing views of the surroundings and evidence of water storage facilities like tanks. Although the fort's precise historic records are limited, it is known for its medieval origins and connection to the region's rulers.

The fort suffered from neglect and decay but remains an important heritage site reflecting Karnataka’s rich history and architectural tradition.
