Bhujio Fort Gate, part of Bhujia Fort located on Bhujia Hill near Bhuj in Gujarat, India, is a historic defensive structure built in the early 18th century by Jadeja rulers Rao Godji I and his son Deshalji I. The fort was strategically constructed to protect the city of Bhuj and has witnessed six major battles between the Rajput rulers of Kutch and invading forces from Sindh and Gujarat during the 1700s and 1800s.
The gate is notable for its connection with the local Naga Bawas, who played a key role in opening the fort gate during a significant battle to help defend the city. The fort complex includes temples, water tanks, bastions, and offers panoramic views of Bhuj city and the surrounding landscape.
Historically important and culturally significant, the fort area also hosts annual Nag Panchami celebrations that honor the Naga tribe and its deity Bhujanga Nag.
