Bikaner Fort, also known as Junagarh Fort, is a magnificent fortress located in Bikaner, Rajasthan. Constructed in the late 16th century by Raja Rai Singh, the fort is unique as it was built on the plains rather than on a hilltop, covering an extensive area of over five hectares.

The architecture of the fort is a rich blend of Rajput, Mughal, Gujarati, and semi-Western styles, reflecting the diverse cultural influences over successive generations of rulers. The fort is known for its thick sandstone walls, elaborate palaces such as Karan Mahal, Anup Mahal, Chandra Mahal, and Phool Mahal, adorned with intricate frescoes, mirror work, and gold leaf ornamentation.

It was strategically fortified with seven gates and high walls, alongside a now-dry moat, emphasizing both beauty and military defense. The fort also houses numerous temples, museums, and courtyards, telling the story of Bikaner's royal heritage.
