Verified Bodrhyddan Hall

Rhyl, United Kingdom, United Kingdom

Bodrhyddan Hall is a grand 17th‑century stately home near Rhyl in Denbighshire, Wales, set in several acres of formal gardens and parkland.

It is a Grade I listed building and has been the seat of Lord Langford’s family for over 500 years, making it one of the few remaining privately owned historic houses in Wales. The present structure was largely rebuilt in the 1690s on an earlier 16th‑century core and later enhanced with Victorian‑era additions designed by the prominent architect William Eden Nesfield.

Inside, the house holds an extensive historical collection including arms and armour, fine art, portraits, and even a 3,000‑year‑old Egyptian mummy and sarcophagus, while the surrounding gardens and woodland walks are open to visitors during the summer months.
