Coco Beach, also known as Nerul Beach, is a quiet, palm‑tree‑lined shoreline on the Mandovi estuary in North Goa, about 10–11 kilometers from Panaji near the village of Nerul.

It sits right at the mouth of the Nerul River, forming a sheltered bay that is popular for boating, dolphin‑spotting river cruises, and relaxed afternoons rather than heavy swimming, because the beach drops off steeply into deeper water. The beach is dotted with small shacks and eateries serving local seafood, and it is often visited by Goan families and day‑trippers who enjoy river‑cruise trips that pass Aguada Fort and the Reis Magos area, as well as a small adjacent market for casual shopping.

Compared with the busier beach‑belt to the north, Coco Beach feels more local and laid‑back, combining a fishing‑village atmosphere with easy access to both city views and the river’s natural scenery.
