Deiva Marina is a peaceful coastal town in Liguria, Italy, located between Genoa and La Spezia, and serves as a gateway to the scenic Cinque Terre and Portofino.

The town is split into two parts: the historical center, perched on a hill with narrow alleys, stone houses, and landmarks like the Church of Sant'Antonio Abate and a quadrangular Saracen Tower, and the more modern "Marina," which is lively with shops, restaurants, and a sandy seashore.

Deiva Marina has a history linked to the Longobards and was once fortified against pirate attacks with watchtowers that are part of its coat of arms. It suffered significant damage during World War II but rebuilt into a charming seaside resort popular for its clean beaches, diving spots including a WWII tugboat wreck, and extensive hiking trails along the Mediterranean scrub and vineyard terraces.
