Egmont Islands, part of the British Indian Ocean Territory under United Kingdom administration, form a small uninhabited coral atoll in the remote Chagos Archipelago, located about 10 km south of the Great Chagos Bank with a total area of around 29 km² including its lagoon and fringing reef.
