Guana Island is a small, privately owned island in the British Virgin Islands, which are a British Overseas Territory in the Caribbean, so it is under UK sovereignty but located in the Caribbean rather than in the United Kingdom itself.

It covers about 850 acres and is known for its rugged, natural landscape of tropical forest, hills, and valleys, with around seven white‑sand beaches and very limited development. The island functions mainly as an exclusive, low‑key resort with only a small number of cottages and villas, making it feel secluded and quiet rather than crowded or commercial.

Guana also has a strong focus on conservation, with much of the land kept as a nature reserve that supports diverse plants, birds, and wildlife, including a small flock of flamingos and protected marine areas offshore.
