Hargad Fort is a hill fort in the Baglan region of Nashik district, Maharashtra, near Mulher and Jamoti, and it was built to watch over the old Burhanpur–Surat trade route.
The fort is now in ruins, with a few rock-cut steps, water cisterns, caves, and a large cannon still visible, and the climb is usually described as moderate and about an hour from the top access point. From the fort, you can see several nearby Baglan forts and the surrounding hill ranges, making it a good spot for trekking and history lovers.
