Horseshoe Bay is a small, scenic bay on the south‑east coast of the Isle of Wight, located near the village of Bonchurch and forming part of the path between Ventnor and Shanklin.

The bay faces south‑east toward the English Channel and originally had a short stretch of shingle and sand, but today it is lined by a wide, flat concrete sea wall and promenade built to protect the soft chalk cliffs from erosion.

The area is more suited to walking and enjoying sea views than to swimming, as the shore is usually covered by waves except at low tide when a small amount of sand and pebbles appears. The flat, level esplanade makes it wheelchair‑ and pushchair‑friendly, and it lies within easy reach of local parking, cafes, and the wider coastal path along the island’s southern shore.
