Jyväskylän yliopiston kasvitieteellinen puutarha (Jyväskylä University Botanical Garden) in Finland is a botanical garden established in 1990 that covers nearly 36 hectares and consists of the green spaces of all three University of Jyväskylä campuses: Seminaarinmäki, Mattilanniemi, and Ylistönrinne. The garden is unique because it includes four different types of parks representing the green construction and plant selection of its construction era, with plants grouped by their growth site requirements and uses. The outdoor areas are open to everyone at all times without restrictions, and visitors can find plant name plates especially on Seminaarinmäki and in Aalto Park. The garden's research activities focus on conservation biology, plants for green construction, and applied biotechnology. Throughout the year, the university organizes several guided tours with various themes and events for special audiences within the botanical garden areas.
