Kanigiri Fort, also known as Durgam Fort or Kanakagiri Vijaya Marthanda Durga, is a historic hilltop fort located in the Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh.

Built during the Vijayanagara Empire, it served as an important military stronghold and administrative center, witnessing control by different dynasties like the Reddis, Vijayanagaras, and Gajapatis over centuries. The fort's architecture features solid stone walls, bastions, and watchtowers designed for defense, with notable structures like the Chennumakku Well and Singarappa Temple inside the fort complex.

Despite many parts being in ruins, the fort retains its historic charm and offers panoramic views of the surrounding region. It stands as a significant symbol of the area's rich cultural heritage and strategic importance in medieval times.
