Kawaguchi City Green Center (also called Kawaguchi Green Center or the Botanical Garden of Kawaguchi‑City) is a city park and botanical garden in Araijuku, Kawaguchi, Saitama, established in 1967 and selected as one of Japan’s top 100 urban parks. The garden features greenhouses with tropical and specialty collections including bananas, bougainvillea, lotus (water lilies), orchids, and succulents, plus seasonal flower displays such as plum blossoms in February, cherry blossoms in March–April, wisteria and azaleas in early May, Japanese irises in early June, and spectacular hydrangeas in summer. The park also offers family recreation with a playground, a miniature railway (mini train), long slides, and a large water pool that is used for swimming in summer and as an ice‑skating rink from late December to February.
