Khinwara is a small town and historic thikana (estate) in Pali district of Rajasthan, India, situated on the main Western Railways line between Ahmedabad and Delhi, about 15 km from Marwar Junction and 30 minutes’ drive from Rani Station.

The place is known both as a modern settlement in Rani tehsil and as Khinwara‑Palinath, a Rathore Champawat thikana with a long Rajput heritage, and it also has a village branch in Desuri tehsil that shares the same 306502 pincode. The town has basic infrastructure including a bus stand, a government higher secondary school, and bus and rail connectivity to nearby towns like Rani, Marwar Junction, Pali and Sadri, while the Desuri side village, sometimes spelled Khiwara, is a larger rural settlement with a population of around 5,800, governed by the Khinwara gram panchayat and falling under the Marwar Junction constituency.

Because of its position on the rail line and proximity to major routes, Khinwara serves as a local transit and trade point for surrounding villages, though it is not a major tourist destination and is primarily known for its rural life, farming, and Rajput historical background rather than large monuments or attractions.
