Kurki is a small village near Beawar in Jaitaran tehsil of Pali district in Rajasthan, India, located north of Pali district close to the Nagaur border. It is historically famous as the birthplace of the saint‑poetess Meera Bai, and was once a thikana (estate) of the Rathore dynasty.

The village still preserves the Meera Fort (or Meera Bai’s birth palace) and nearby structures associated with her legacy, and these are the main points of interest for visitors. According to census data, Kurki has a population of around 4,100 people living in about 800 households, with a slightly higher male population and a literacy rate that is lower than the state average.

It is a gram panchayat in its own right, situated about 50 km from Jaitaran and 150 km from Pali, and is connected by public and private bus services, while the nearest railway station is more than 10 km away. Kurki is primarily a rural agricultural village with a strong cultural and religious identity due to its association with Meera Bai, and though it is not a major tourist destination, it attracts devotional and heritage visitors interested in the saint’s life and history.
