Maharaja Mahadaji Shinde Fort, also known as Jamgaon Fort or Jamgaon Bhuikot, is a large land fort in the village of Jamgaon in the Parner taluka of Ahmednagar district, Maharashtra, India.

Built on flat land rather than a hill, this roughly circular “nagarkot”‑type fort covers about 86–87 acres and once enclosed the entire village, with a fortified outer wall that includes around 19–20 bastions and several gates, three of which are now blocked.

The fort is closely tied to the 18th‑century Maratha general Mahadaji Shinde (Scindia), who held the area as a jagir, and his grand three‑storey palace (rajwada) still stands within the inner, more secure section, now housing a D.Ed. college run by the Rayat Shikshan Sanstha.

Today the palace and parts of the fortifications are in good condition, while the rest of the complex is largely deserted, making it a historically rich but under‑visited site mainly visited on weekends and holidays.
