Malanggad Fort, also known as Haji Malang Fort, is a hill fort situated in the Matheran Hill Range near Kalyan in Maharashtra, about 65 km from Mumbai. The fort dates back to the 7th century, attributed to King Naladev of the Maurya dynasty, and was later controlled by the Bahmani Sultanate and the Marathas.

It is built on three distinct levels: the lowest, Pir Machi, features a plateau with the famous Haji Malang Dargah shrine; Sone Machi is a rock projection shaped like an elephant trunk with two bastions; and the topmost Balekilla is the citadel without strong fortifications. The fort's defense relied heavily on its natural terrain rather than constructed walls or machicolations.

Historically, Malanggad witnessed battles between the Marathas and the British in the late 18th century, with the Marathas defending the fort fiercely. The site is revered for its religious significance, scenic views, and trekking opportunities, drawing both devotees and history enthusiasts. It is famous for clear panoramic views of the Mumbai-Pune Expressway and surrounding hill ranges.
