Mandore Garden in Jodhpur is a historic site dating back to the 6th century and served as the former capital of the Marwar region before Jodhpur was established.

The garden is renowned for its impressive collection of cenotaphs or chhatris, which are royal memorials built in the form of intricately carved temples dedicated to past rulers of Marwar. Among these, the cenotaph of Maharaja Ajit Singh, built in 1793, stands out for its grandeur and detailed craftsmanship.
