Mangad Fort is a survey fort located near Borwadi, close to Mashidwadi in the Mangaon taluka of Raigad district, Maharashtra.

The fort sits about 235 meters above sea level and holds historical significance as it was part of the former territory of Maratha king Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the founder of Hindavi Swaraj. Historically, the fort was built to monitor Dive Ghat on the Pune-Saswad route and played a strategic role in regional defense.

Prominent features include an ancient temple of goddess Vinzai at the base with a unique cow-mouth styled entrance, four water tanks, and a cave that could accommodate 50 people used for storing food grains. The fort also contains remnants of the machineries and housing used by the soldiers and 'Killedars' (fort commanders).

From the fort’s summit, one can enjoy expansive views of the Sahyadri mountain range and nearby villages. Conservation efforts have been made to preserve its historic elements, and it remains a destination for trekking and history enthusiasts.
