Munger Fort, located in Munger, Bihar, is a historic fortress perched on a rocky hillock along the southern bank of the Ganges River.

Its origins are believed to date back to the early period of the Slave dynasty in India, with notable mentions during the rule of Muhammad bin Tughluq in the 14th century. Over centuries, the fort was controlled by several dynasties including the Khaljis, Tughlaqs, Lodis, Nawabs of Bengal, and the Mughals, before being ceded to the British in the 18th century.

The fort spans an extensive area, fortified with massive walls, moats, and watchtowers, designed for military and strategic advantage. Inside the fort complex are important monuments such as the Tomb of Pir Shah Nufa, the Palace of Shah Suja, the Tomb of Mulla Muhammad Said, a sacred Chandisthana temple, and a British cemetery.
