Myerscough College in England was founded in 1894 originally as the Lancashire County Institute of Agriculture.

It began on farmland near the village of Hutton focused on practical and theoretical agricultural education designed to support the local farming industry. Over the years, it expanded and moved to its current site at Myerscough Hall near Bilsborrow in 1969, on a large rural estate with farmland used for agricultural research and teaching.

The college evolved considerably to become one of the UK's largest land-based and sports colleges, adding courses in animal care, sports science, golf, and horticulture, among others. It now collaborates with the University of Central Lancashire to offer higher education degrees through its University Centre Myerscough.

The college has multiple locations across Lancashire and offers extensive residential accommodation, modern teaching facilities, and practical farm environments. It is known for combining historic agricultural traditions with innovative education and research in land-based industries.
