Niigata Prefectural Botanical Garden (Niigata Kenritsu Shokubutsuen) is a 19.8-hectare (49-acre) botanical garden and arboretum located at 186 Kanazu in Akiha Ward, Niigata City, Niigata Prefecture, Japan, featuring over 100,000 plants across approximately 20 hectares and offering a blend of nature and educational experiences.

The garden's centerpiece is a massive dome-shaped greenhouse standing 30 meters (98 feet) tall and 42 meters (138 feet) in diameter, which houses approximately 4,000 tropical plants from 550 species across arid, aquatic, and tropical zones, including giant-leafed Victoria water lilies, endangered subtropical flowers, and rocky mountains with waterfalls inspired by South America's Guiana Highlands that create an immersive jungle-like atmosphere.

The garden is home to a world-class azalea collection with 550 varieties totaling about 4,000 plants, many hard to find elsewhere, and the Flower and Green Stage inside the greenhouse regularly hosts special exhibitions with seasonal themes like azaleas, carnivorous plants, and Christmas displays.
