Phalodi Fort, located in Phalodi near Jodhpur, Rajasthan, is a historic fort built in 1488 by Rao Hammir Narawat, the grandson of Rao Suja Maharaja of Jodhpur.

The fort displays exceptional Marwar artistry and traditional Rajasthani architecture with intricate designs and strong defensive structures. Phalodi itself was originally known as Phalvardhika and was established in the 15th century by a Brahmin named Shri Siddhuji Kalla, with its name later changed in honor of his widowed daughter Phala.

The fort served as an important military and administrative site, playing a significant role in the region's history. Around Phalodi, there are several heritage sites such as Lal Niwas, a red sandstone palace, and numerous ancient temples including the notable Parsnath Jain Temple built by the Oswal Jain community.

Today, the fort stands as a testament to the historical and cultural richness of the area, offering visitors a glimpse into Rajasthan’s royal and architectural past.
