The PN Mehra Botanical Garden in Chandigarh, India, spread over about 16 acres within the Punjab University campus, was established in 1960 and named after its founder, Professor P.N. Mehra.
The garden hosts more than 1,000 plant varieties, including several rare species collected from different regions of the country. Notable features include an arboretum with around 225 species of trees, water gardens with lily ponds, a cactus house with over 100 species, an orchid house showcasing various orchids, and a fern house with around 50 fern species.
