The Regional Museum of Natural History in Mysuru (Mysore), Karnataka, is a government-run natural history museum established on May 20, 1995, by the Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India, serving as the southern regional office of the National Museum of Natural History in New Delhi.

Located on the scenic banks of Karanji Lake with the Chamundi Hills in the background, the museum spans 5.25 acres and functions as a non-formal environmental education center dedicated to creating public awareness about nature, wildlife, ecology, and conservation through interactive exhibits.

It features two main galleries: the Biological Diversity gallery, which showcases the geological, plant, and animal heritage of southern India with special focus on the Western Ghats, and the Life Through the Ages gallery, which dramatically presents the origin and evolution of earth and life through a walk-through tunnel experience.
