Tandulwadi Fort, situated near the village of Tandulwadi in Palghar district, Maharashtra, is a historic hill fort standing about 1,524 feet above sea level.

Its history dates back to the 15th century, originally built as a strategic watchtower used to monitor the surrounding regions and the Arabian Sea. It was controlled by various rulers including the Gujarat Sultanate, the Portuguese who took it after capturing Vasai in 1509, and later the Marathas who reclaimed it following the Battle of Bassein in 1737.

The fort is not heavily built up but includes several rock-cut water cisterns and a small pond. Its location provides panoramic views of the Arabian Sea, nearby forts like Kohoj and Takmak, the Surya and Vaitarna rivers, and surrounding valleys. The trek to the fort is moderately challenging and popular among adventure seekers and history enthusiasts.
