The Yorkshire Arboretum at Castle Howard in the United Kingdom is a 128-acre garden of trees established between 1975 and 1992 through the efforts of George Howard and James Russell. Situated on former parkland around Castle Howard, the arboretum features more than 7,000 trees, including rare and endangered species from around the world, with a special emphasis on wild-origin plants collected from global expeditions, particularly China.

The site includes historic limestone walling designed by John Vanbrugh and retains mature parkland trees dating back to the 18th century. It provides a diverse range of habitats including woodlands, lakes, and ponds which support local wildlife and a small captive population of red squirrels for conservation.

Managed jointly by Castle Howard Estates and the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, the arboretum is a place for education, conservation, and public enjoyment, offering woodland trails, scenic landscapes, and wildlife observation.
