Timangarh Fort, located near Masalpur in Karauli district, Rajasthan, was originally built around 1100 AD and later rebuilt in 1244 AD by Maharaja Timan Pal, a descendant of Lord Krishna.

Known historically as Trinagarh, it is named after Timan Pal, who strengthened and expanded the fort. The architecture of Timangarh Fort showcases a remarkable blend of Rajput and early medieval styles, featuring intricate carvings of gods, animals, and floral patterns on temples and pillars. It is surrounded by dense forests and a nearby lake called Sagar Lake, adding to its scenic beauty.

The fort has witnessed several battles and territorial changes, including occupation by Muhammad Ghori in the late 12th century.
