Tipagarh Fort, located in the Gadchiroli district of Maharashtra, is a historically significant hill fort known for its robust fortification and large stone masonry walls.

It was ruled by the Gond prince Puram Raja, who commanded a strong force and controlled the surrounding region, including Vairagad Fort. The fort is situated in a dense teak forest area, far from human settlements, and features an outer wall and an inner fortification raised on a hilltop.

Tipagarh Fort is also associated with local legends involving a saint named Guru Tipababa, whose samadhi (final resting place) is found in a cave beneath a massive rock near the fort. The fort's architecture reflects the knowledge and style of the Gond rulers, with large stone blocks used in its construction and remnants of palatial buildings near a large water tank, which added to the fort's historical grandeur. Despite its challenging location and the dense surrounding forest, the fort remains a site of cultural and historical interest, with tales of battles and treasures linked to its past.
