Yashwantgad Fort, also known as Redi Fort, is a historic coastal fort located near the Maharashtra-Goa border in Redi village, Maharashtra.

Originally built by the Marathas around the 16th century, it later came under Portuguese control in 1746 before being returned to the Sawant clan through a peace treaty. The fort was subsequently captured by the British in 1765, who retained the walls while selling the land inside to locals.

Spread over three hectares, the fort is built on two levels; the larger lower fort touches the creek and contains a freshwater well, while the smaller upper fort on a hillock was used to monitor maritime activities. Its architecture features solid construction with four intact entrance gates, guard vestibules, and a citadel known as the Balekilla, which has many well-preserved buildings.

The fort overlooks the Arabian Sea and offers charming views, while nearby attractions include temples and beaches. Though the fort is partly in ruins, it remains an emblem of Maratha-era military and coastal heritage.
