The Arboretum Zürich, established between 1886 and 1887, is a botanical garden and public park situated along the lakefront of Zurich, Switzerland, as part of the city's historic Quaianlagen development.

Originally intended as a conventional parkland, its design was enriched by botanists and geologists to include scientific elements, such as a diverse tree collection from regions like southern Switzerland, the Alps, North America, Japan, and China, alongside a rock collection and an alpine panorama showcasing views of the Glarus Alps.

The arboretum combines scientific education with natural beauty, containing mature tree groups arranged by region and plant family, as well as unique features like the Vogelpflegestation, a bird care facility established in 1902. Maintained largely in its original design, the arboretum underwent restoration after damage from storm Lothar and remains a cherished urban green space offering visitors educational and recreational opportunities with scenic lakeside views.
