Bellerive Castle
Switzerland, Switzerland
Bellerive Castle, known as Château de Bellerive, is a 17th-century château located in the municipality of Collonge-Bellerive in the canton of Geneva, Switzerland.
Built in 1666 for Charles-Emmanuel II, Duke of Savoy, its construction provoked local resentment and sparked conflict between the Republic of Geneva and Savoy.
Recognized as a Swiss heritage site of national significance, it later served as the residence of Prince Sadruddin Aga Khan and hosted the 2013 wedding of Prince Rahim Aga Khan, before being sold in 2022 for a record 106 million Swiss francs to Dinara Kulibayeva.
