Château d’Aigle is a well-preserved medieval castle in the town of Aigle, Canton of Vaud, Switzerland, originally constructed around 1200 on a strategic hill overlooking the Rhône Valley and ancient transalpine routes.

Built initially by the Barons of Aigle as a small fortification, it expanded under the Counts of Savoy in the 13th century with a fortified donjon and walls, later serving as a residence for noble families like the Compeys before being captured and rebuilt by Bernese forces in 1488 after destruction during the Burgundian Wars.

The castle functioned as a governor's seat, prison, and court until the 19th century, when it was acquired by the Aigle community and restored in the 1970s to house the Vine and Wine Museum amid surrounding vineyards, earning recognition as a Swiss heritage site of national significance.
