Château de Grand-Vivy is a historic castle located in the former municipality of Barberêche, now part of Courtepin in the canton of Fribourg, Switzerland.
Originating from a medieval site inhabited by the 12th century with ties to the Lords of Vivier, it features a manor house rebuilt in the early 17th century by the de Praroman family, including a chapel dedicated to Saint Anne, and underwent neoclassical renovations in the 1860s with added towers, galleries, and a park.
Recognized as a Swiss heritage site of national significance, it exemplifies the transition from feudal stronghold to aristocratic residence over centuries of noble ownership.
